Hi everyone, this is Adam Law once again, with Wanderings. Today's topic is a very special and important one.
It's called "becoming."
Most people when they're stuck, it's because they don't have hope.
They don't see things changing, and they don't see things moving. So how do we get to a feeling of being good, to be able to fix these things,
when we see it's so insurmountable, there's so much for us to do? This is called the secret of becoming. When you get up in the morning, it's not always about what have I done so far.
This can be overwhelming and depressing.
What gets us going is feeling is that I am on the way to fulfilling my goals.
This is becoming.
We have to take things apart, into smaller pieces.
What you can work on is the little things. Then you start realizing when you wake up the morning,
that you're becoming something. Today I'm gonna work out. That's what I'm gonna do, and then I'm going to make my next video, or apply for that job, or educate myself, or spend time with that person. Step beyond your boundaries!
It's not about arriving! When you've arrived you're already there, and by then you might want something else. It's about becoming,
It's about knowing every day that you're moving towards your goals.
When I work with my clients, oftentimes they are just totally stuck in every single area. What we have to do is pinpoint what is under our control, and what is not under our control. The things that are under our control, we take them a little bit at a time
and move forward with that particular goal. Once we start feeling good about that, we move farther and harder in that particular thing. And then we go on to the next thing.
When we find that once we're doing well in one thing we're moving to the next,
and it's easier because we feel good. We look good, we're projecting good energy in the world,
and we're attracting people to us. This is what becoming is:
The idea that we're projecting our greatest self.
When we realize that we're moving towards our goal. It doesn't have to be getting there,
because when we focus on that we can think it's so insurmountable. How can I possibly get there?
No, it's not about getting there, it's about the journey. When you're becoming you're on your way to becoming the person that you want to be. Little by little.
It's like a snowball, it builds up and gains more motion, more power.
We will find that each task is easier and easier. Yes, you're going to have those little moments, those little stumbles on a particular day, but when your overall movement is that you're becoming, you're moving forward. So that's the secret of becoming.
As I spoke about in my abundance video,
there is always something under your control. Whether it's your thoughts, your physical actions, or your spiritual life.
...if you're going to make a phone call, or reach out for a job, or make a video, or do whatever you got to do. There's always something under your control,
and you will find that when you fulfill that one thing you're on your way
to becoming the person you want to be.
It gets easier and easier.
It's not about arriving it's about becoming.
